Higher Performance, Inc. hosted our 2nd annual free Faith IN Football Camp on July 27, 2024 at Lincoln Sports Foundation. We had the opportunity to serve over 40 athletes from 4th-8th grade. These athletes not only participated in football drills and 7 on 7 competition, but also partook in a community service opportunity. We were able to put together 100 backpacks with hygiene kits (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, toothpaste, and toothbrushes), school supplies (notebooks, folders, pencils, and pens), and finally a Bible. At the conclusion of the camp each athlete received one of the backpacks. The remaining backpacks will be donated to different organizations around Lincoln. We were also able to provide each athlete with a gift card to different stores around Lincoln (Scheels, Under Armor, Target, Sam’s, and Other amazing sponsors). We believe seeds were planted and God is going to nurture and grow each seed in the way only He can. We are truly thankful to all the organizations and volunteers that helped make this event happen. We cannot wait until next year! This event is privately funded by specific business/individuals we do not use funds from our donations to other events to host this event.
